Terms of use.

Purpose

BridgeVoice provides communication assistance, explanations and translation suggestions. It is not medical, legal, immigration or financial advice, a diagnostic tool, a certified interpreter or an emergency service.

Human responsibility

All AI-generated translations and terminology require professional judgment and verification. Check critical quantities, negations, dates and conditions against the original. MeaningGuard flags potential discrepancies; a lack of warnings does not establish accuracy.

Permitted use and consent

Use only information you are authorized to process and obtain appropriate consent before speech or document processing. Do not use this application to impersonate others, invade privacy, break applicable law, or make automated consequential decisions without appropriate human oversight.

Availability and accuracy

The software is a demonstration release provided as available. Models may produce inaccurate or incomplete content. Browser speech, network connectivity, document extraction and local storage may fail. No uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular professional purpose, or translation certification is promised. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

External services and costs

Live inference requires a separately authorized Meta account or permitted access method, and may incur costs under that provider’s terms. Browser speech services and hosting providers also have their own terms. The project does not imply endorsement by Meta or any competition organizer.

Content and data

You retain your rights in content you provide. You are responsible for the rights needed to upload, process or share it. Local exports and saved history may contain sensitive information; manage them carefully. The application does not automatically send suggested translations to conversation participants.

Deployment and changes

These terms describe this source distribution. Before a public service launch, its operator must identify the service operator and contact details and review jurisdiction-specific obligations. Continued use of a modified deployment is governed by the terms it actually publishes; no undisclosed contract change is implied here.

BridgeVoice supports human interpreters. All AI-generated translations and terminology suggestions require professional judgment and verification.
